  Our opinion: In Cedar Bluff just off I-40, this super-budget hotel offers free parking, free Wi-Fi, and plenty of nearby dining, but its reliability is a major concern. While the location can work for a cheap stop within driving distance of downtown Knoxville, UT, and local event venues, repeated reports of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety problems make it hard to recommend with confidence, even for a one-night stay.
  
  The setup is basic and older, with standard rooms offering flat-screen TVs, work desks, irons, hair dryers, and Serta beds, while some larger suites add microwaves, mini-fridges, and sofa sleepers. There’s also on-site laundry and a public computer, which can be useful on a road trip. That said, the overall feel sounds dated rather than retro, and several guests describe the building as worn down, with broken fixtures and a closed pool/waterpark area that no longer functions. This is more of a bare-minimum motel-style stay than a place with a fun social atmosphere or polished common spaces.
